2004 Winters Last Gasp?
Measurable snowfall has fallen on Long Island on each of the last 4 full days of Winter (March 16-19). In some parts of the island up to a foot of snow has fallen during that period and snow depths along the north shore are ranging as high as 9 inches as of Friday March 19. Here are a few photos showing the March 19th snowfall on Long Island. Hover the mouse over each image to see a description, or click any of the images to view a larger version.
